Challenges in Diagnosing Juxt-Articular Osteoid Osteoma of the Talus: A Case Report

Osteoid osteomas of the talus are rarely seen. They can easily be misdiagnosed. In this case report, we present a 21-year-old man with an osteoid osteoma in talar neck whose pain onset coincided ankle injury. The latter was deemed misleading factor when making diagnosis. Eventually, patient treated surgical excision osteoma. gap that resulted after filled autologous bone graft. A year his operation, returned to daily activities and remained pain-free. high index suspicion appropriate imaging examination mandated for early diagnosis such entities.
